Strategic Projects Director

Two Six Technologies is seeking an experienced Strategic Projects Director in Arlington, Virginia who can thrive in a dynamic, agile organization focused on furnishing capabilities to address adversary challenges to the US Government.  Experience with distributed team coordination that span geographic locations, functional teams and organizations is a must.

Responsibilities

• Presenting projects, strategies and developments with external customers to assist business initiatives
• Furnishing programmatic leadership to multiple ongoing projects; project sizes range from $500 Thousand to $100+ million efforts.
• Defining, revising, and balancing contractual requirements across multiple stakeholders
• Supporting new business proposal efforts by translating mission requirements into capability requirements
• Preparing Statements of Work (SOWs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) in appropriate contractual terms
• Managing a team of program / project managers
• Supervising the deployment and implementation of cutting-edge technologies to end user locations in San Antonio, TX; Colorado Springs, CO; Augusta, GA, Linthicum, MD and Honolulu, HI

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Research and Development activities
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with threat forecasting and implementation of risk assessment frameworks is required. 
• Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance

• Familiarity with the US government, Department of Defense and Intelligence community
• Understanding of governmental programmatic offices and Program of Records
• Familiarity leading and transitioning research efforts through operational pilots and into systems of record
• AGILE/PMP/ScrumMaster Experience
• Government Contracts Experience
• Educational background in Management
• Ability to analyze information and present briefings
• TS/SCI clearance
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence, Slack, Google Apps, Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce
