Sentara Health Plans is hiring a Strategic Sales Executive - Large Group- Remote in Richmond or VA Beach, VA!
This is a Full Time position with day shift hours and great benefits!

Job responsibilities:
- Responsible for Optima Health's new business sales and broker/consultant business development efforts in the large group business segment in accordance with channel and opportunity alignment.
- Use consultative, strategic sales approach to achieve assigned business objectives.
- Communicate with and present to senior level executives, decision makers and key influencers.
- Develop formal opportunity profiles that include key influencer strategies for each prospective customer, a competitive analysis summary and a value proposition tailored to reflect knowledge of the prospect and Optima Health's current and emerging capabilities.
- Effectively articulate how Optima Health's capabilities can contribute to constituents (Plan Sponsor, School Board, City Council, C-suite, etc.) long-term strategies. Manage complex and extended negotiations.
- Manage the relationship and knowledge transfer to Client Management team at the appropriate time in sales process. Support strategic growth initiatives
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 7 years related experience required or Associate's degree and 9 years related experience required or HS graduate and 11 years related experience.
- Related years of experience includes Business Acumen, Customer Relation, leadership, Health Insurance Industry, Employee Benefits, Sales Representative or related field.
- Must obtain a L-HIL or L-LIFEHI within 90 days of hire.
- Driver's License - Other/National
Preferred qualifications:
- Sales experience in healthcare industry, Health Plan preferred
