Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our field sales organization focused on the largest enterprise accounts and predominantly new customer acquisition. The individual we seek is a sales hunter who is highly motivated, a self-starter with excellent business acumen and gravitas. A thorough understanding of executing a sales campaign from business development to closure and experience of managing strategic customers is required.
You will spend your time selling large complex deals across multiple levels within the organization, and navigating procurement processes. Join us as we take additive manufacturing mainstream with the world’s strongest 3D printed parts across the widest range of materials using cloud software.
What will you own?
- Responsible for developing and growing a pipeline of opportunities for Markforged products within the manufacturing vertical. Must be able to call at CxO level and build and pipeline.
- Proactively drive large, transformational deals through lead to close
- Experience navigating large company procurement processes
- Drive account strategies and coordinate selling efforts with channel partners to execute a sales process and win deals
- Manage multiple customer opportunities with multiple partners at once while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- Build accurate forecasting and an operational cadence with management
- Expertly demonstrate Markforged technology to end users and execute opportunities with channel partners
- Ability to identify, recruit and onboard channel partners

What you have:
- Track record of proven success in a quota carrying role (proof of quota attainment)
- Able to handle a mix of new business activities including prospecting with long term account planning and management of a small number of key accounts.
- Experience selling large ticket items to customers with more than 3k employees
- Proficient at establishing and cultivating "C" level consultative relationships.
- Recent experience managing a diverse pipeline across multiple industries and customers
- Bachelor’s degree
- Technical sales background in hardware/software and/or engineering related technology
- Ability to create multi-million dollar proposals
