Strategic Sourcing Manager

Overview:

The Strategic Sourcing Manager is a key member of a global team focused on driving sustainable reduction in Business and Corporate Services spend by building strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers the Strategic Sourcing team. He or she will collaborate with Bunge coworkers across all levels of the organization to define requirements, develop and source solutions, and contract for the best total cost solution, all of which enables the business to achieve its goals. Located in Bunge's corporate headquarters, the Strategic Sourcing Manager must have a strong understanding of Strategic Sourcing and both Stakeholder and Supplier Relationship Management. He or She will own and manage complex and simple sourcing projects for assigned categories. The Strategic Sourcing manager must be agile and able to adapt to shifting priorities and demonstrate a sense of urgency aligned with our stakeholder needs. The Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing, communicating and executing category plans for assigned subcategories.

Key Job Activities:

Proactive stakeholder management to act as a trusted advisor, expand influence and increase early engagement

Participate in and lead sourcing initiatives as assigned. Prepare RFI's and RFP's using e-sourcing tools (SAP). Analyze bids; and make recommendations on supplier selection. Develop, calculate, and document savings and cost avoidances

Use of analytics tools, data and key supplier relationships to evaluate, identify, and monitor Bunge and industry trends to support effective category strategies.

Actively lead or participate in global or regional initiatives and assist with the implementation of global or regional programs/strategies where appropriate

Negotiate contract language and terms, manage contract redlining activities with legal, stakeholder and supplier

Manage preferred regional and global supplier relationships, including measuring/ monitoring performance, tracking savings and resolving issues

Lead periodic category review meetings with key stakeholders and suppliers to identify sustainable cost savings opportunities

Network with internal customers to increase Procurement's influence and visibility, act as the single point of contact for internal stakeholders

Skills/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a related field

Certifications related to Procurement/Strategic Sourcing perferred

4+ years of enterprise or global strategic sourcing and supplier management of professional or facility services, including at least 1 year of category management experience

Supplier Relationship Management experience including scorecards and CI efforts

Knowledge of CI, Kaizen or other tools used to identify and implement streamlined processes

Expertise in Excel, proficiency in the Office Cloud suite, experience in SAP, Coupa or other ERPs, catalog tools, e-sourcing and auction systems, and contract lifecycle management tools

Demonstrated experience in a global organization including the ability to influence stakeholders despite cultural differences or distance

Experience with contract development and negotiation, including coordination with Legal
