Strategic Supply Chain Analytics Leader

AMOT, founded in 1948, is a leading global manufacturer of control, safety and hazardous area solutions for engines, compressors, turbines and other rotating equipment in the oil and gas, marine, power generation and transportation industries. Our product families include valves, electric and pneumatic instrumentation, control and condition monitoring systems and hazardous area safety products.
SUMMARY
The Strategic Supply Chain Analytics Leader will develop and execute supply chain and sourcing strategies that maximize AMOT CRI. The individual will work with sales, operations, suppliers, and engineering across regions to improve current processes, introduce new business systems, and expand analytics and insight across organizations.
ESSENTIAL TASKS AND DUTIES
- Working Capital: develop a working capital improvement strategy at product line level that provides insight to sales, product rationalize, pricing, manufacturing, and sourcing change opportunities.
- Business Systems: Work with AMOT business system infrastructure team to leverage current ERP system and Power BI capabilities and assessing new modules such as E-Commerce, Supplier Score Card, Supplier Portal, Customer Portal, Demand Planning, Intercompany order management, etc.
- Cost Reduction: leverage infrastructure and potential to leverage low-cost country resources transact order entry to cash processes.
- Lead-time reduction strategies: from order entry to cash.
- Lead high value contract negotiations to ensure most advantageous terms and conditions are achieved for AMOT.
- Travel expectations 25%
PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIP
- Lead, develop and execute strategy with the local teams.
- Train leadership and functional teams applying latest continuous improvement tools and processes to achieve targets.
- Develop KPIs for each function leveraging business systems such as Power BI
- Create sustainable documented processes to manage processes.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited college/university
- CSCP, CPSM, CPM, CIPS qualified or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing Sourcingor Supply Chain strategies and continuous improvement programs.
- High level of senior level negotiating competence.
- Experience in managing high mix /low volume sourcing and supply chain business, in the engineering/industrial sector.
- Management and supervisory experience.
