As a Market Development Advisor for the Media & Entertainment business, you will work with Media & Entertainment leadership to develop, refine, and execute on, the strategic priorities for the vertical and ensure alignment with the broader TransUnion and U.S. Markets strategies.

As a Market Development Advisor for the Media & Entertainment business, you will work with Media & Entertainment leadership to develop, refine, and execute on, the strategic priorities for the vertical and ensure alignment with the broader TransUnion and U.S. Markets strategies.

Impact You'll Make:
- You will be responsible for understanding overall commercial revenue attainment via customer acquisition and growth from existing business
- You will collaborate closely with a sales team to lead and understand business pipeline development, coordinating internal resources for identified opportunities to maximize business conversion ratio
- You will cooperate with sales team to build relationships with selected clients, providing subject matter expertise, pursuing consultative approach to identify areas of improvement, and positioning TransUnion as a trusted partner to help clients achieve their goals
- Provide project management support to ensure Market Development team projects are being completed on time
- Liaise with cross functional teams across Product, Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, Strategy, Corporate Development, etc. to manage various strategic projects
- Prioritize, design, and execute market/competitive diligence projects that feed into strategic decisions
- Leverage functional and industry expertise to identify and develop plans for Media & Entertainment vertical growth
- Become an expert on the needs and plans of our key customers and prospects and translate those needs into business strategy ideas and business cases (across topics areas including: macro-economic impacts, regulatory impacts, disruptive innovations, industry specific trends, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, engineering, economics (or relevant work experience)
- MBA desired (but not required)
- 5+ years of focused professional experience in business development, product development, sales, or consulting roles within the media and entertainment industry
- Prior experience working directly within digital marketing tech is strongly preferred
- A candidate with strong points of view on the future of media measurement/analytics will have distinct advantages
- Similarly, candidates with first-hand experience around the specific challenges that the industry faces around the evolution of identity, data, and audiences are preferred
- Experience with sales management tools, such as salesforce.com is a plus
