Responsible for managing Bank Operations, departmental procedures. Involved with the planning process, scheduling, and implementation if continuous improvement initiatives within bank operations. Trains and educates production and other operations staff on Continuous Improvements culture. Will work closely with the management team to identify skill, knowledge, and performance gaps. Ensures that standard work procedures are clear and concise. Oversee training and education functions within the Continuous improvements team and Operations. Operate as a leader on every project involved in. Supports teams in efficiently managing their teams by performing in-depth analysis as well as providing suggestions.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement revenue-generating and cost-saving initiatives that improve operations
  • Work with business leaders, end-users and project managers to document business requirements, system enhancements and the creation of return-on-investment (ROI) and impact analysis.
  • Serve as liaison and consultant to departments and line of business' (LOBs) on training needs to help resolve process gaps that can lead to improvements.
  • Develop training curriculum based on departmental and individual needs that fits timeline and work through any constraints that are presented.
  • A "Change Agent," who drives top quartile performance within their operations through training that provides return on investment as well as helps organization leaders on establishing change adaptable culture.
  • Works in close collaboration with managers & associates, and vendors (if applicable), to build training toolkits which includes reference guides, checklists, business processes and FAQ's docs etc.
  • Identifies specific areas of deficiencies in overall business process and develops and implements corrective training programs
  • Effectively deliver learning that encourages engagement, participation, and understanding of content.
  • Assist and support the workflow and lean manufacturing processes for production department.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, waste removal, and cost reduction.
  • Plan, facilitate and execute continuous improvement events using Lean Six Sigma tools as well as lead long term projects/initiatives including training.
  • Analyzes and reports key metrics of training curriculum and outcomes that can lead to more effective training.
  • Lead training effort of Merger & acquisition for Bank Operations group when needed.
  • Become a subject matter expert to internal operations partners and line-of-business leaders from training perspective.
  • Develop alternative solutions and present to appropriate audiences to gain consensus and approval.
  • To take ownership of change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through to project delivery via internal governance and controls
  • Involved in Continuous Improvements initiatives to provide leadership to other cross functional groups.
  • Easily navigate through changes in priority without losing sight at ongoing initiatives.
  • Successfully juggle through priorities.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job

  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related fields (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Continuous Improvement/Training Specialist or similar role.
  • Well-developed customer relations skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • The ability to work well independently with limited direct supervision
  • Strong knowledge of Banking Operations
  • Strong knowledge of Banking Operations Software
  • Experience with MS Office products (Excel, Access, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint) is required.
  • Expert knowledge of reporting tools such as SQL, Tableau, etc.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow workflows and data analysis.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to set and meet deadlines, as well as provide direction and feedback
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and analyze complex business processes or concepts
  • Ability to build collaborative partnerships and teams.
