The Analyst will be a core member of the Hospital Services National Team, which supports our field operators through identification of opportunities for improvement and development and implementation of solutions that streamline the delivery of care, while making it safer and more effective. The Hospital Services National Team consists of multiple lanes including: Clinical, Finance, Operations, Account Management, Strategy, Biomed, Legal & Compliance. The Analyst will work cross-functionally with these teams to support strategic and operational improvement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Analyst, Strategy and Operations will be responsible for executing analysis, maintaining key tools, and supporting the strategic initiatives and operational priorities of the Hospital Services National Team.
Strategy Support:
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to help identify gaps within Hospital Services operations and support the recommendation of processes to close those gaps.
- Research and gather data to identify opportunities to leverage core strengths from internal organizations.
- Support the implementation of recommended changes in partnership with the Director, Manager, and field leadership by creating training materials, tracking progress, and monitoring adoption.
- Contribute to the development of high-impact presentations and data models to support the annual and multi-year strategic planning process.
- Maintain and improve tools, processes, and best practices (e.g., Tableau dashboards, Anaplan models, etc.) to drive efficiency in the delivery of care.
- Collaborate with Finance to update and automate reporting of operational metrics, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
- Analyze large operational datasets to identify trends, outliers, and opportunities for improvement; partner with the Manager of Clinical and Operational Analytics to visualize these insights.
- Monitor SLAs for internal support organizations and flag at-risk deliverables to leadership.
- Triaging and responding to requests for support from field leadership (DVPs, RODs) regarding operational tools and data.
- Experience: 0-3 years of relevant experience in business analysis, consulting, finance, or operations (Healthcare experience is a plus, but not required).
- Education: Bachelor's degree required (Business, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred).
- Analytical: Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Technical: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas) and PowerPoint is required. Experience with Salesforce, Tableau, or SQL is a strong plus.
- Communication: Effective written and verbal communicator; comfortable presenting data and insights to management.
- Project Coordination: Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpersonal: Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively in a highly matrixed organization.
- Problem Solving: Innovative and curious approach to problem-solving; willing to ask questions and dig into the "why" behind the data.
