Strategy Associate
Job Description
Job Summary: This position will play an integral role in the Office of Strategy Management, supporting strategy development and deployment for the health system. The Strategy Associate is expected be a detail-oriented, critical thinker with strong communication skills and the ability to synthesize large amounts of data in a way that supports organizational decision making and action, supporting the full cycle of strategic planning and execution. Support strategic analytic work for growth strategies, collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders and leaders across the system, including but not limited to Senior Leadership, Service Line Leadership, Finance, Decision Support, and Informatics, to enhance decision making and develop market-based insights. Ability to function effectively in an environment with multiple and changing priorities; successfully manage several high priority projects simultaneously; and take direction from, or support, multiple leaders. Decision-making, project leadership and consultation skills. Ability to see the big picture and manage small details.
Master's degree required; Business/Health Administration/Public Health preferred. 3 years related work experience required. Demonstrate the ability to manage and lead multiple high-stake projects and influence teams to act and achieve results. Work history of evaluating and making strategic recommendations by analyzing and interpreting large, disparate sets of data. Strong project management and analytical/problem solving skills. Ability to scope and analyze cross-functional problems and generate/implement effective solutions. Self-starter with ability to work independently and often with little direction in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate a strong understanding of customer needs and proven ability to exceed expectations. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Power BI and/or Tableau, and SharePoint. Experience with EPIC reporting and working knowledge of Arc GIS preferred. Strong influencer with the ability and desire to motivate others. Solid understanding of business processes and system wide thinking. Outstanding verbal and written communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of complex healthcare data analytics. Must have ability to multitask and prioritize multiple ongoing projects at one time.
