Strategy Executive

ADP is hiring a Strategy Executive. The successful candidate will partner closely with ADP executives to create and rollout our overall business strategy. This person will lead strategic initiatives focusing on both growth opportunities and operational enhancements for the business. They will also work closely with ADP executives on ongoing execution of strategic initiatives.
This position is part of the Strategy team that works with the Small Business, Insurance and Retirement Services business units, which are major growth focus areas for ADP. These business units are creating & delivering innovative payments and data/analytics offerings respectively to ADP's Human Capital Management (HCM) clients. The role reports to the VP of Strategy and is based in Florham Park, NJ.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the business unit GM and senior business unit leaders, and be a member of the leadership team of both business units.
• Identify, develop, and drive long-term strategies based on fact-based analyses, focusing both on growth and operational improvement opportunities.
• Conduct in-depth market and competitive assessments to identify opportunities and risks.
• Partner with BU and functional leaders (e.g., Product, Sales, Service) to build strategies, develop business cases, define critical initiatives, and execute plans.
• Manage business unit accountability model including Objectives & Key Results (OKRs), operational reviews, and updates to ADP's senior leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Bachelors degree required.
• Experience developing and evaluating strategies: identifying and framing issues, developing hypotheses, conducting market research and analyses to test key hypotheses, developing execution plans.
• 5+ years experience in a strategy consulting firm or an internal Corporate Strategy role within a F500 company

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

• MBA and/or advanced degree preferred.
• Knowledge of the business services / enterprise software / human capital management market preferred.
• Strong analytical skills (financial modeling, basic statistics, regression analyses, etc.).
• Known as a strong problem solver.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
• A person who thinks and acts at the senior level.
• 2-3 years of previous team / management leadership preferred
