This position is for an Associate Director of HVAC Strategy and is an integral part of the HVAC leadership team that reports to the Vice President Marketing, BD & Strategy. This individual will lead significant strategic opportunities for the company, consult with product and service segment leaders regarding market and business intelligence data to develop relevant strategies, provide recommendations, and help in the implementation of strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define strategies and develop roadmaps/project plans to drive meaningful outcomes with high impact
- Lead cross-functional project teams to drive specific outcomes and deliver results
- Synthesize unstructured data (internal/external, qualitative/quantitative) to extract key insights
- Present recommendations to executive team and report outcomes to executive leaders
- Act as an advisor to business unit leaders and stakeholders on key strategic issues
- Identifies and evaluates internal and external strategic issues which could affect growth and profitability and develops long-range objectives and plans
- Reviews acquisition proposals to evaluate whether they meet strategic growth plans
- Owns and develops strategic and operational plans to drive business goals
- Communicates with executive leadership on business, financial and economic data as well as latest trends and information.
- Creates and maintains strategic relationships with customers, competitors, suppliers, and professional organizations to stay abreast of industry or business trends.
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Recognized within the organization as a thought leader in area of expertise
- Owns and develops critical strategic and operational goals which have significant impact to the achievement of results
- Influences business decisions made by executive leadership
- Problems faced are complex and require extensive investigation / analysis
- Communicates with senior executive leadership regarding matters of strategic importance to the organization; conducts briefings with senior leaders in and outside of job function
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of commercial applied HVAC market, systems, and products
- Ability to lead and work in cross-functional environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong influencing skills
- Willing to travel

EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field with 12+ years' experience
- Graduate degree preferred - MBA, MS with 10+ years' experience
