Job Summary 

Under the general direction of the EVP, Strategy & Market Development, the Strategy & Market Development Manager will support the development and pursuit of multiple strategic priorities related to the expansion and growth of PatientPoint. Leveraging a rigorous and consistent process, this position will provide analysis, financial modeling, and reporting that supports the systematic vertical expansion of our business.  This role will also collaborate closely with internal cross-functional partners including, but not limited to, Finance, Product, Legal, and executive leadership in support of the creation of horizonal expansion strategies, the introduction of new product lines, exploring potential new partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions that support the evolution of our product ecosystem. The team this role is a part of will have broad influence, impacting product strategy, content strategy and Go-To-Market.  Therefore, a systems thinking mindset and approach will be required to understand and support the growth strategies and integration plans as designed by leadership. 

What You Will Do 

  • Lead the development and delivery of financial models, forecasting and analysis that support corporate strategic planning and market development planning functions, including short- and long-range business goals 
  • Participate in the evaluation of strategic options, growth opportunities, and new partners in close collaboration with the EVP, Strategy & Market Development.   
  • Build the financial picture to help secure funding that fuels our mission, including support from current and new sponsors, creative joint ventures, and other creative sources of capital.   
  • Provide financial understanding associated with inorganic strategy deployment for assigned business units, including market evaluation, target identification, screening, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, closing, and integration. 
  • Support smooth transition of knowledge, integration responsibilities, and operating goals and objectives to business and functional leaders responsible for post-closing management. 

What We Need 

  • Analytical Expertise: Possesses a high level of analytical aptitude as well as an ability to navigate ambiguity while investigating complex challenges across all company opportunities.  Proven experience building financial models and verbalizing the story in clear, concise language for the appropriate audiences.   
  • Executional Excellence: This role requires a bias toward action, focus on the delivery of results, accuracy, as well as excellent follow through.   
  • Presentation and Influencing: This role will routinely collaborate with internal cross-functional partners, leadership teams, and individuals from potential partnering organizations to optimize strategic execution against business objectives.    

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with financial analysis and reporting in a corporate, investment banking, or consulting environment. 
  • Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited Institution 
  • Demonstrated aptitude for both managing and prioritizing multiple projects and initiatives. 
  • Great oral, written communication, and presentation skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.

  • Meet the deadlines associated with the decision making and approval process alongside FP&A, and Executive team in evaluation and execution of M&A transactions.  
  • Work beyond what is described in job description as needed. Willing to be flexible for the team, and ultimately the work.
