The Strategy team is a small multidisciplinary and multicultural team that reports to the COO and

• Identifies, designs, and leads the execution of value-creating, cross-functional initiatives,
• Supports the strategic process for the Firm, and
• Engages in business development and special situations

About the Strategy Internship

If you are interested in pursuing a career in Strategy, this 10-week summer internship with our Strategy group will provide you a valuable experience at a complex global firm. During your time with us, you will gain exposure to and build your knowledge base on:

• Supporting implementation of the firm’s strategic priorities
• Leading projects with multiple senior stakeholders across the Point72 organization
• Evaluating business development opportunities
• Providing project management support to key initiatives
• Performing research on different relevant topics (competitive intel, trends in the industry, market conditions)
• Leading analyses on ways to improve our firm’s operations

Summer Internship Program at Point72

In addition to the learning and development you’ll receive in your day-to-day role with your team, as a part of our summer internship program you will:

• Work alongside your fellow interns and be mentored by experienced professionals
• Meet your peers through designated intern programming, volunteer opportunities, and social events
• Attend sessions with senior leaders discussing their expertise and career paths
• Get hands-on access to best-in-class tools and resources
• Gain exposure to groups and functions with unique responsibilities and perspectives on our industry
• Develop technical, writing, and presentation skills

What's required

• Have demonstrated previous academic success as reflected in a minimum GPA of 3.3/4.0
• Have a commitment to always acting with professionalism and integrity
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards
• Excellent synthesis and communication abilities
• Ability to cope with uncertainty and thrive in a fluid fast-paced environment
• Interest in the Asset Management industry
• A strong structured and analytical mindset

The base salary range is $32.00 per hour and this role is eligible for overtime. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
