Structural Analysis Engineer

Job Description

Cyient is a global engineering and technology solutions

company. We engage with customers across their value chain helping to design,

build, operate, and maintain the products and services that make them leaders

and respected brands in their industries and markets. We are looking to add a

Thermal Structures Engineer to our team in East Hartford, CT or Jupiter,

FL. As our teammate, you will work with our aerospace customer and be

responsible for defect analysis.

You Will:

• Use Ansys software to analyze structural integrity of

rotating and static engine hardware

• Use Ansys software to mesh and solve 2D, 2D/3D, and 3D

models

• Complete modal and forced harmonic analysis

• Use existing analysis models to mesh morph in order to

simulate defects

• Analyze stress changes due to applied defects

• Use proprietary lifting software to determine Low Cycle

Fatigue (LCF) and Fracture Mechanics Life (FM Life)

• Write technical summaries of analysis findings to provide

to customer

Qualifications:

• Must have at least one year of experience
• Must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical, aerospace, or other technical engineering degrees
• Must be able to read prints (drafting experience is preferred)
• Must be proficient with Microsoft apps
• This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident ["green card" holders], or have refugee or asylee status.

2D & 3D Finite Element Modeling in ANSYS, All MS Office Products, ANSYS Software, Siemens Teamcenter
