Job Description

• You prepare static concepts, preliminary and main statics of industrial steel structures for both, tendering and execution phase
• You do steel structure calculations
• You consult other departments regarding statics
• You participate in project meetings for quotations and supplier selection
• You optimize erection concepts in close collaboration with the erection department
• You travel approx. 10% of your time to suppliers (worldwide)

Qualifications

• You are a trained Structural or Civil Engineer with 5+ years’ experience in structural engineering of Steel and/or Support Structures for (power) plants
• You have solid knowledge of Eurocode 1090, Dlubal RSTAB, Navisworks and MS Office; TEKLA and BIM knowledge is a plus
• You have excellent communication skills towards internal and external stakeholders, and are used to talk to suppliers
• You can cope very well with changing requirements, assumptions, and you work well with remote teams
• You are a curious, brave, ambitious, confident personality who enjoys sharing knowledge and who assumes responsibilities
• You are fluent in English
