Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Structural Monitoring Program Leader, we'll count on you to:
- Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle (from development & initiation to close-out)
- Responsible for all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high degree of technical complexity, involving a large project staff
- Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently
- Establish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
- Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholders
- Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule
- Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule
- Work with the Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews
- Implement QA/QC procedures
- Supervise large project staffs and act as mentor for less-experienced Project Managers
- Review, assign work and/or check design calculations, estimates, and specifications produced by junior engineers and EITs

Keywords:
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering
- A minimum of 15 years bridge design experience
- A minimum 5 years project management experience
- California PE
- Proven hands-on experience in all aspects of Caltrans bridge design projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and MicroStation
- Experience using structural analysis programs and bridge design software
- Demonstrated leadership skills, communication skills and ability to work with various teams
- Project management skills including project scheduling
- Strong communication skills and willing to work in a team environment and provide technical mentoring to junior staff
- Must be comfortable being viewed as a technical expert in engineering analysis and design and have proven background of technical leadership on these types of projects
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with engineering software packages such as: LPile, SAP2000, CSiBridge, CTBridge, MS Project

The expected compensation range for this position is $133,550 - $190,785 annually/hourly depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.
