Student Operations Support Specialist

Role Summary
nFocus Solutions is looking for a Student Operations Support Specialist to provide administrative and analytical support through monitoring and tracking student progress, graduation rates, trends, and policy compliance of distance learning students at the Command and General Staff College located at Fort Leavenworth, KS.
Responsibilities:

• Track student progress to ensures student are completing assignments to maintain steady progress through coursework
• Enforce the 60-day account locks and the 90-day disenrollment policy
• Identify and flag students for failing to meet requirements
• Conduct analysis of graduation rates for courses

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in adult education or in a related field
• Minimum of three years working in an educational environment supporting students grades and academic reporting
• Experience using Blackboard
• Strong customer service skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Possess clear and precise oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Submit to required background check
• Able to meet requirements to work on a military installation, including having a valid state driver's license and car insurance.
• Be self-motivated with ability to establish priorities and effectively manage time to complete multiple tasks within specified timeframes
• Be organized with a strong sense of urgency
• Adhere to established guidelines and procedures
• Be in attendance and punctual as scheduled
• Be completely functional in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Maintain a US Passport
• Be able to travel in support of the mission up to 10% of the time
