The Sub-Journey Product Manager will lead and manage the strategy and execution of initiatives supporting the Enroll and Onboard Portfolio.The ideal candidate will be a dynamic self-starter and leader who collaborates and influences effectively across different levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

The Sub-Journey Product Manager is accountable for driving strategy, prioritization and overseeing execution. Through close collaboration with design strategy, business strategy, analytics, and development partners, the Product Manager sets direction and makes decisions. The role will apply human centered design, lean startup, and product management discipline to the customer experience, taking an iterative approach to developing experiences and managing them through optimization and/or sunset decisions.

The Product Manager will make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding the approach to initiative execution, and will perform work without direction and with considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Responsibilities include:
  • Balance the needs of the customer and business to deliver exceptional experiences and business results for a specific portion of the Enroll & Onboard journey
  • Partner with Journey Leadership, Design Strategy, Business Strategy, Analytics and Development Leaders to define vision, roadmaps and backlogs of priority opportunities and experiences
  • Provide ongoing leadership throughout the entire product / experience lifecycle, including but not limited to MVP definition, business requirements, and scaling recommendations
  • Manage a portfolio of experiences / solutions, understanding the levers available and making necessary prioritization decisions as needed
  • Manage the linkages and interdependencies of solutions within the Enroll & Onboard portfolio and of work occurring in other parts of the enterprise
  • Assist the Enroll & Onboard Journey Leadership in continuous planning activities


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years experience in strategy development, customer experience, or product management
  • Experience working in healthcare
  • Strong organizational skills and experience in initiative and program planning and execution
  • Demonstrated high learning agility and tolerance for ambiguity
  • Strong collaborator, both virtually and in-person
  • Demonstrated strengths in problem solving, communications, interpersonal skills, big picture thinking balanced with attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills


Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or other advance degree
  • Experience working in Agile teams

Work-At-Home Requirements
  • WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
