Due to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center in Poznań we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:
Subject Matter Expert - General Ledger
Poznań, Poland
Your responsibilities:

• Identify areas within the General Ledger (GL) processes that require enhancements.
• Develop and prepare metrics and reports to track performance.
• Support the GL team in resolving complex issues.
• Conduct training sessions for the Finance team.
• Participate in system testing for new implementations and upgrades.
• Provide day-to-day support to team members and assist the manager.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the GL function.
• Look for automation possibilities within GL processes.

Our requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance (AP, AR or GL).
• University degree in Finance/Accounting or similar.
• Practical knowledge of SAP and advanced Excel skills (eg. Macros, Pivot tables, SAP Scripts).
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to plan and execute tasks independently.
• Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach.
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of MS Power Apps (Power BI, Power Automate, etc.).
• Other European language skills.
