What you will do:

The Subject Matter Expert is a strategic commercial role reporting to the North American (NA) Solution Vertical Business Development Leader. Your focus rle will be on supporting our Video and Penn Connected Solutions. You will drive adoption of these solutions across our NA business - engaging, educating, and inspiring our sales teams to deliver against the Fiscal Year plan.

Based in NA, you will be part of a matrixed management structure requiring frequent engagement with 3 regional leaders and an additional 30 - 40 individual sellers. You will also be responsible to work and engage with our channel and inside sales team.

How you will do it:

• Lead the Penn Connected and Video strategy in North America and ensure the regional targets are exceeded
• Identify and quantify addressable market for security solutions at country level
• Identify high importance key accounts within each territory and drive solution specific account plans with the relevant account managers
• Drive regional sales activity necessary to deliver revenue to exceed annual objectives
• Perfect the value propositions linked to each of our solutions and ensure this is reflected within our market facing activities
• Develop and execute a go-to-market plan for Food Drug Mass Merchant (FDMM) within each region
• Identify and schedule meetings with New LOGO Customer opportunities in NA
• Use "voice of the customer" and industry expertise to help shape our solution development strategy supported by strong business cases
• Liaise with our marketing teams around trade shows, partnerships with industry bodies, press releases, promotional material, and public relations
• Inject a commercial creativity that will deliver innovative strategies to accelerate solution adoption
• Consolidate and share the key learnings and best practices that will strengthen our ability to consistently win business
• Work closely with the FDMM solutions management team to manage and enhance relationships with our 3rd party providers and partners

What we look for:

Required

• Bachelor's degree or a professional business-related qualification
• 5+ years of experience of retail focused security solutions
• Deep knowledge of North America's retail landscape
• Competence around solution selling based around value and not features
• Demonstrated ability to present effectively at executive level
• Ability to travel in North America
• Market definition and analysis skills
• Customer-focused approach and attitude - for both internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated leadership skills and an attitude that supports "leading from the front"
• Extensive understanding of the Retail Industry and its leading brands
• Strong Contacts and Reputation in the Industry
• Able to negotiate deals where Sensormatic Solutions is not the low-cost provider
• Knowledge of project management methodologies
• Proven sales and/or client relationship management experience
• Ability to work with cross functional teams in order to achieve customer objectives

Preferred

• Understanding and experience with Video and SaaS solutions
• Experience working with shopper analytics
