Who You Are
Prowess Consulting is looking for a SME (subject matter expert) with AI and Analytics Data Lakehouse Solutions expertise to offer consulting services for one of our enterprise clients. This will be a two (2) month project, and the number of expected hours will be ten (10) hours per month. No third-party agencies, please.
The Role

• As a consultant, you will work closely with writers to provide technical expertise and ensure the accuracy and quality of technical documentation
• Provide expertise in open-source data engineering configurations, including Apache Spark, Trino, Apache Hive Metastore, and Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Validate technical solutions and configurations outlined in documents, ensuring they align with best practices
• Offer insights into the integration and optimization of modern data lakehouse technologies, including Apache Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, Dremio, and Starburst

Required skills and qualifications

• Understanding of modern data lakehouse architectures and their interaction with structured and unstructured data.
• Strong knowledge of open table formats (e.g., Hudi, Delta Lake, Iceberg) and experience integrating these formats with query engines.

Additional Details

• The offered pay range for this position is $90.00 per hour.
