Summer 2023 Internship - Digital Cloud Application Developer (Remote)

The Designer Brands 2023 Summer Internship Program is an elite group of university students who will be part of a robust, 10-week program with the opportunity to work, learn and immerse themselves in the day-to-day operations of their function. The program will consist of hands-on experience, skill-building, cross-functional collaboration, and networking to support professional development. IT manages all of our technology, from our point-of-sale systems in stores to the desktop computer at home office and everything in between. They keep us connected in all areas of the business! At the end of the program, the interns will have a better understanding of the IT function within Designer Brands.

Qualifications:

• Past experience with API development using Node.js (typescript preferred)
• Familiarity with cloud-native tools such as Kubernetes (cncf.io)
• Familiarity with one or more cloud platforms - GCP, Azure, AWS
• Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Collaborate with team members on new projects and ideas
• Must be able to work 40 hours/week for the duration of the program (June-August)
• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate (rising Juniors and Seniors) or graduate program
