The Designer Brands 2023 Summer Internship Program is an elite group of university students who will be part of a robust, 10-week program with the opportunity to work, learn and immerse themselves in the day-to-day operations of their function. The program will consist of hands-on experience, skill-building, cross-functional collaboration, and networking to support professional development.
Product Marketing Intern Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support Product Marketing Team by managing the Product Alignment (PA) process which includes, but isn't limited to, product tagging, ensuring product details and images are inputted and accurate, delivery and inventory tracking and weekly uploads
- Sample management and coordination which includes working with Merchant partners to ensure we have all appropriate samples
- Seasonal and monthly shoot support
- Lead weekly hind sighting for team discussion
- Leverage routing tool to review marketing assets to ensure all creative captures the product name and price accurately and the product is available online/in stores
- Offer product recommendations for affiliate and influencer programs, merchandise events and specific Marketing channel requests
- Review and approve all product price changes
- Responsible for uploading vendor provided imagery to DAM
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Retail Industry
- Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- Self-starter and not afraid to ask questions
- Approximately 50% of time will be spent in the office with the other time working from home
- Must be able to work 40 hours/week for the duration of the program (June-August)
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate (rising Juniors and Seniors) or graduate program
