Summer 2023 Internship - Project Management Intern

Our Summer 2023 Internships run 11 weeks, 40 hours per week (flexible) with the program starting June 6th and concluding on August 18th. Our internship is a fully remote (or work from our luxury office in Boston, MA if preferred), paid opportunity!  

We will supply you with a laptop to allow daily video chats, client meetings, and collaboration & mentorship from you team.

Your Day-to-Day

The Project Management team is the engine that keeps the agency machine running. They are strategic problem solvers and communicators that lead cross-functional teams from planning to project delivery. Project Managers are the barometer for teams and collaborate with all departments to ensure work is executed on time and on budget, and partner with Account Teams in strategic planning and workflow. We radiate wecentricity and a constructive approach to all work, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness. 

As a Project Management Intern, you will be introduced to all aspects of project management from scoping to completion. You will support Project Managers across multiple accounts by assisting in basic project management tasks including online routing of projects and Workfront maintenance. During your time at PRECISIONeffect, you will obtain a clear understanding of agency process, workflow, and each departments’ role and responsibilities. 

Required Experience

• Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program, ideally entering your undergraduate junior or senior year in Fall 2023 
• A high level of computer competency and intermediate or advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Outlook)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

Helpful Experience

• Shown interest in medical communications, healthcare, managed markets, and the healthcare delivery system 
• Leadership experience, including networking and relationships building
