Role Summary
This position entails a hands-on learning experience in the Quality Department as a summer intern from May to August of 2023. The summer intern will co-ordinate and track supplier submission of data for Supplier Quality Engineers.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with management of quality reporting systems (QPF, PPF, eRFX) • Contacts suppliers to update their sections of quality reporting systems• Meets with suppliers to ensure they are on track to agreed upon timing commitments• Verifies that documents have been submitted as requested and alerts SQE• Assists SQE with the review of Quality Documentation for accuracy• Tracks Directed suppliers' approval status from the OEM

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Completion of at least 1-year of College, currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or other Business-related field.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Strong communication skills: verbal, written and technical presentations.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully coordinate and complete multiple tasks within and across departments to meet established and changing deadlines.
Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer, may require travel.
