Summer 2024 Data Engineering Intern

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Utilize leading-edge AI/ML tools to develop, test, and maintain data pipelines within the Platform Reference Architecture.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by fostering productive interactions with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Create a motivating work environment that recognizes and rewards strong performance while fostering innovation, inclusivity, and collaboration.

• Collaborate on an Agile team to design, develop, test, implement, and support scalable AI/ML solutions.
• Analyze user feedback and activity to iterate and improve services and user experience.
• Ensure compliance with information and data security policies and best practices.

• Develop and implement robust cloud-based data solutions that scale effectively.
• Perform unit tests and code reviews to ensure solutions are rigorously designed and optimized for performance.

Education and Experience:

• Working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Anticipated graduation date within one year of internship
• Minimum Overall GPA of 2.8

Computer Skills:

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.
• Knowledge of AI/ML domains and associated open-source libraries
• Fluency in Python and experience with one or more Machine Learning/Deep Learning frameworks
• Exposure to database platforms, preferable cloud-based

Valid driver's license required.
