Summary / Role Purpose

Join the Ansys Student Internship Program to apply your education to assist the Ansys sales effort in supporting our sales team as they work with our customers to solve real world engineering problems. Advance your career skills and work experience at Ansys. The student intern will be part of the Go To Market (GTM) organization, which supports our sales function with analytics, deal transactions, marketing and communications, and channel partner engagement. The successful candidate will get the opportunity to exercise their skills in their chosen area and develop knowledge and experience. The Sales Operations Intern will get an opportunity to interact with Ansys global leaders and receive best in class mentorship and coaching. The internship will run for approximately three months during the Summer rotation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The Sales Operations Intern will assist the Sales Operations Analyst team in compiling sales and market data that drive feedback insights on our promotional and sales activities. During this internship, the successful candidate will work on various projects that may include:

  • Compiling, analyzing and reporting sales data
  • Contributing to the development of sales plans and objectives
  • Supporting sales professionals with accurate CRM data and ad hoc reporting
  • Assisting with routine forecast reports and all related analytics for completion and accuracy
  • Building collaborative relationships with internal sales partners
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities and providing solution-driven feedback to sales operations management

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

  • Working towards a bachelor's degree in business, finance, data science or related fields
  • Prior professional internship or work experience, a plus

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, strong Excel skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Research and data analytics skills
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
  • Interest in the engineeringsoftware industry
