• Summer Internships: Monday May 19 2025 ( 40/hours per week max)

The Event Marketing Intern will perform a variety of tasks dependent upon the team they support. This person will coordinate details execute projects and work cross-functionally with other teams within Workiva.

What You'll Do

• Research plan and execute on venue selection collateral and workshop/event logistics

• Assist with managing vendor relationships

• Monitor and work within established budget guidelines for the program(s)

• Collaborates with multiple teams across the organization to integrate appropriate marketing strategies

• Measures success metrics and analyzes reports to assist with recommending areas for improvement

• Researches industry trends competitors and regulations

• Assists in managing multiple marketing projects programs and/or events prioritizing workload and completion under tight deadlines

• Provide assistance in tracking project progression

​ What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program preferably in Marketing Advertising Business Communications or related program

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in planning large-scale events preferred

• Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills

• Self-motivated with strong propensity for action results and continuous improvement

• Ability to work successfully in a high-energy fast-paced rapidly changing environment is necessary

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes programs and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines

• Strong creativity and brainstorming skills

• Strong attention to detail

Travel Requirements and Working Conditions

• Limited travel

• Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely not in a Workiva office

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future
