Summer 2025 Internship Program - Engineering

Products created using DAPS are superior in performance, lower in cost, rapidly customizable to meet mission and customer-specific requirements, faster to market, and scalable on demand to high volume production. Divergent is a qualified Tier 1 supplier to global automotive OEMs, and Divergent is now expanding to support mission critical needs in the Aerospace and Defense sector.

Responsibilities will vary depending on each intern’s area of expertise.

Basic Qualifications: 

Qualified candidates must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program from an accredited college or university in mechanical engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or other engineering discipline.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Ability to work onsite in Torrance,CA

30+ hours of weekly availability

Attention to detail 

Engineering problem solving capabilities

Basic knowledge of engineering and equipment

Prior knowledge of analysis tools

Prior programming experience 

Application of technical skills outside of the classroom (examples include: extracurricular projects, volunteering, personal projects, laboratory research, or prior internship/work experience)

Ability to collaborate across different teams

Self-directed with a positive attitude
