Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join us this summer as Summer Analysts in the Data & Analytics Office team and will be exposed to the following skills:

• Agile development methodology
• Report development in Power BI, PowerApps, SQL, and other technologies
• Data analysis for a variety of descriptive and predictive projects
• Interact with a variety of Real Estate focused applications, such as Yardi, Argus, VTS, Cherre, and many more
• Tenant and asset tours
• Research skills

Our intern program lasts 10-weeks and includes many exciting training and development opportunities, including:

• Being paired with a mentor
• Asset tours
• Networking events
• Excel modeling class
• Presentation skills

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for this position would include the following:

• Financial modeling and analysis for lease transactions
• Industry research
• 3rd-party data analysis to understand data quality and completeness
• Report development for a variety of business units
• Assist in understanding and developing requirements for new reporting needs
• Tour assets alongside senior colleagues

Requirements:

To qualify, candidates should meet the following requirements:

• For Summer Analyst Role: Rising senior working towards a Bachelor's Degree in related major.
• Data Visualization, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field preferred
• Demonstrated interest in real estate
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving ability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and proactive, both with respect to managing workload and own professional development
• Ability to handle large volume of work; good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Candidate should be enthusiastic and motivated to succeed in a team environment
• Paid Internship - $25.00/hour
