Purpose: Five Star Bank understands that people are at the heart of its success and as such, its full-time paid summer associate program is designed to identify and develop the next generation of financial services professionals. We are looking for students with H.E.A.R.T. who embody our core values - humble, empowered, ambitious, resilient, and transparent - to help us advance our vision of being an independent, high-performing community bank offering bold and innovative products to the markets we serve.

Our summer associates will begin in June, the program extends through 10-12 weeks, providing participants with real work experience and one-on-one mentorship, culminating in a capstone project and presentation to our executive leadership team. Opportunities may be available to be extended past summer or with full time employment offers. Job Related Qualifications - Education and Prior Experience:

Required:

• Candidates must be available to work a hybrid work model, 40 hours per week for the duration of the 2024 program starting in June.
• Occasional travel within corporate footprint (Buffalo, Rochester and Warsaw) will also be required.
• At least 1 year in one or more club(s), volunteerism efforts, or other activities outside of the classroom

Education:

• Currently enrolled as a full time or part time student pursuing an associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree at an accredited college or university.
