Our team at Agoda is part of the Supply department, focusing on optimizing operations and providing data-driven insights across regional markets. We work collaboratively to enhance hotel partnerships, streamline operational processes, and ensure a seamless experience for suppliers. Our regional Operations and Analytics team leverages data analytics to uncover trends, forecast demand, and identify growth opportunities in key markets. We are a diverse and dynamic group, passionate about driving efficiency, innovation, and performance within the travel and hospitality industry.
The opportunity:
As an intern on our team, you will have the opportunity to work on projects that analyze operational challenges and contribute to building innovative solutions. You will be involved in gathering and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, collaborating with team members to design efficient workflows, and using data-driven insights to develop strategies that enhance operational performance. This hands-on experience will allow you to contribute to real-world projects that address key business needs and drive operational excellence.
In this role, you’ll get to:
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for process improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and present data-driven reports with actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Assist in building dashboards and visualizations to track key performance metrics and progress.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategy and improve business outcomes.
- Contribute to ongoing projects aimed at optimizing workflows, cost reduction, and customer experience.
Requirements:
- Currently a 3rd-year student or below with strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficient in Microsoft 365
- Knowledge in Database Management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, Tableau)
- Knowledge in Data Visualization (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
It's great if you have:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Formal Sciences (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and others)
- Knowledge in Financial Modeling and Analysis
