Summer Internship: Art Director
Job Description
Are you someone who can solve a puzzle in a lot of different ways? And, who’s completely determined to succeed despite impossible odds? Yeah? Well, that’s what we’re looking for!
WONGDOODY is looking for an Art Director Intern to learn about, and add to, our creative team. A proactive problem solver who’s interested in deploying their skills to communicate their ideas with words.
What You'll Do:
- Work in a team with a Copywriter to concept, create, and complete assignments.
- Collaborate and assist Senior Art Directors on real assignments like TV briefs, integrated campaigns and pitches.
- Contribute to the conceptual and visual development of strategically sound creative concepts.
- Embrace technology and where it’s headed.
- Learn how strategy, copy and design work together to create stellar experiences.
- Present work internally and to clients.
What You've Got:
- A portfolio of ideas and concepts.
- Willingness and enthusiasm to learn. And laugh. And learn some more.
- Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to contribute individually and participate in cross-functional teams.
- Passion for working in a culture of collaboration, respect and creative democracy.
This is a 40 hour per week, 8-week, paid Internship starting in June 2023. Our ideal candidate will be local to New York, Los Angeles, or Seattle, to take advantage of our hybrid work environment.
