Summer Internship: Business Development Team

WONGDOODY is looking for a Summer 2023 intern to join the Business Development team and support a variety of new business opportunities. The chosen candidate would gain exposure to clients across different industries and help sell a range of projects — from strategy to design — for both employees and consumers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Create capabilities and pitch presentations using a mix of pre-existing content, content created by team members, and content created by the intern themselves 
• Support written proposal submissions including pulling together existing content, writing content themselves, and editing what others have written — ranging from a light touch (catch typos), to more significant massaging of content into a coherent narrative/voice
• Coordinate contributions and feedback on proposals, consolidating changes for review
• Support the team as they define the structure, scope, duration, and staffing of projects
• Execute knowledge management strategy, ensuring commonly used proposal/presentation materials are organized, current, and meeting a common standard
• Research target companies to provide relevant information and potential points of contact in support of team’s outbound prospecting strategy
• Clean up the design of documents using existing templates and styles (opportunity for more significant involvement in presentation design if interested)
• Support the BD Team in various housekeeping items around code opening, pipeline maintenance, and paperwork — you won’t be doing anyone’s expenses or getting anyone coffee
• Work across the full spectrum of creative agency services with a focus on CX/UX/Product Design opportunities, generally coming through existing Infosys client relationships

WHAT YOU'VE GOT:

• Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline such as marketing, English, communications, or business
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Strong editorial and proofreading skills
• Critical attention to detail
• Required: Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• A huge plus: Internship experience in a professional services organization
