Summer Internship: Client Partnerships Team

The WONGDOODY Summer 2023 Intern will work with our Client Partnerships team located in Los Angeles, CA.

The Client Partnerships team is often called the “thread” that leads our clients and their campaigns and equally sets up our extended agency team for success. We act as the trusted advisor to both our client and agency teams – paying attention to every detail and solving for every problem that may arise with client and our collective work.

This opportunity is a hands-on orientation to the world of advertising, marketing, and Human Experience design for Senior college students who possess a strong interest in these professions. This position gives candidates a first-hand opportunity to learn how to manage and coordinate client and agency needs while developing a deeper understanding of the cross-discipline inner-workings of the agency.

The Client Partnerships Intern will be responsible for working with the assigned account teams and supporting daily duties for client projects.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Build excellent and trustworthy relationships with co-workers
• Shadow the Client Partnerships team members to learn the day-to-day function and role within the agency 
• Document internal reviews, synthesizing action items and assisting with next steps 
• Assist in a variety of workflows, from concepting to production, within project scope 
• Participate in project kickoffs and internal reviews
• Develop client partner skills and the importance of relationship building   
• Ensure client’s needs and goals are being met on projects
• Ask questions! So, you’re feeling fulfilled in learning this craft  

WHAT YOU'LL EXPERIENCE:

• A deep dive into the client’s brand history (and/or campaign, and/or product, and/or program), background information, competitive landscape, and reporting on findings 
• Interactions with colleagues and activities across all areas of the agency to understand the process and how an agency works 
• Learn how to diplomatically problem-solve and maintain a positive attitude with team members and clients in stressful situations 
• The latest in digital, print and TV production, planning and strategy, and/or User Centric Design (UCD) for products and experiences
• An environment of professionals who are eager to have you learn and be part of the team

This is a 40 hour per week, 8-week, paid Internship starting in June 2023. Our ideal candidate will be local to Los Angeles, CA to take advantage of our hybrid work environment.
