2023 SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM - Product DEVELOPMENT

The LifeNet Health summer internship is a paid ($20/hour) program and includes project work that aligns with our mission Saving Lives, Restoring Health, and Giving Hope. The projects are designed to engage active learning, provide mentor relationships and leadership development over the course of a 10-week program. As a fun bonus, our interns are provided 8 weeks of golf lessons and a set of clubs to use during the internship program with an end-of-program golf tournament!

The PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT internship project will allow you to work on a freeze-drying cycle optimization for Placenta and ACS project.

PROJECT DETAILS/TRAINING:

• Investigate the effect of adding an annealing step to the current freeze-drying cycle with the intent of reducing visual delamination.

• Perform placenta freeze drying rework study.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

• You must be actively pursuing an Engineering bachelor's or post-bachelor's degree.

• You must be at a rising junior bachelor level or higher.

• You must be available to commit to the 10-week program (June 5 - August 11), full-time, 40 hours/week.
