This role brings balance and autonomy—imagine an ideal mix of outpatient practice, engaging inpatient and ED consults, interventional therapies, and upper/lower endoscopies. Teaching opportunities are available too, with residents and med students eager to learn from you. ERCP skills? Great if you have them, but absolutely not required!
