Job Description

1. Co-ordinate and supervise the review/preparation of the US GAAP Trial Balance

Review and post journal entries for prepayment, accrual, payroll, adjustment, reclass and other pertinent General Ledger transactions

Process journal entry as may deemed necessary

2. Review and approve Balance Sheet Reconciliation

3. Support and review variance analysis on monthly Income Statement

4. Support Indirect/Direct Tax and local Statutory Accounts processes as required

5. Assist Manager Accounting in maintaining metrics, reporting KPIs and identifying process/procedure improvement opportunities

6. Ensure proper ongoing training of staff and proper allocation of workload, minimize overtime

7. Supervise the daily activities of a small unit or group of individual contributors performing the same or similar tasks where the majority of the time is spent performing the same or directly related individual tasks

8. Assigns, monitors and reviews progress and accuracy of work, directs efforts and provides technical guidance on more complex issues.

9. May be required to complete tasks of subordinates when the need arises and perform other task as required by the management.

10. May initiate and communicate a variety of personnel actions (e.g. performance and salary reviews, time off requests, timesheet and expense report approvals).

11. Ensure that stringent back up system is maintained

12. Provide periodic feedback and regular assessment of team members.
