Plan and administrate the resources given by the company to keep in the best condition all the equipment and building of the plant.
Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, train and mentor the technicians to ensure the objectives established.
Manage the budget of the department to ensure the fidelity of the equipment, and required services for the plant.
Assists all facilities under Maintenance Topics and Solutions.
Setting up new assets, manage the work order back log, PM's, & develop equipment parts lists.
Analyze the results of the downtime per machine and take corrective actions.
Plan and develop maintenance programs to reduce the downtime and assure the continuity of the production process flow.
Meets La-Z-Boy 5S standards, both in the maintenance shop and when completing work projects.
Proposal of future better alternatives for projects and/or cost reductions.
SCOPE & IMPACT:
-Machines with recurring failures
-Daily and weekly production needs
-Maintenance program follow up
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
1 or 2 year experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics or similar with 0-2 years of production process experience or equivalent
Proficient in ERP systems and ERP management
Immediate to advanced MS Excel and MS Access skills
Knowledge and administration of maintenance systems
Basic english level
Travel Required – up to 20%
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
E1 Experience
Knowledge in automation and control
Proficient in English – speaking, reading, writing
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct reports
Budget control
Attend production needs.
Assure fidelity of the equipment
Kronos management
Control of spare parts
Downtime report and analysis
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Office environment / no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands. Often required to sit, repetitive hand motion (such as typing), to hear, listen and talk. Seldom required to stand and walk. Never required to bend, stoop, climb ladders, kneel, squat, crouch, craw, balance, reach overhead, pull, push, shovel or lift up to/over 50 pounds.
