Supervisor - Gas Insulated Switchgear Installations (m/f/d)

Job Description Summary

The Oberentfelden site is a competence center for the development, production, and service of metal-enclosed, gas insulated high voltage switchgear, their components, and drives. As a supervisor, you guarantee that the installation, maintenance, and repair of high-voltage switchgear, considering qualitative, scheduling and administrative aspects, to ensure the proper functioning of our devices.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Primary and secondary installation of Onshore and Offshore Gas Insulated Switchgears of per standard operating procedures and always according to the safety regulations
• Read and understand technical drawings; able to follow and amend standard work procedures for Gas Insulated Switchgear installation
• Basic knowledge in (Local Control Cubicles) LCC
• Supervise the usage of manpower, equipment, and tools on construction site
• Proficient operation and use of tools and equipment (electrical, mechanical and testing)
• Comply with our company-values and our internal environmental, health and safety regulations (EHS) and with the relevant organizational processes of the management system
• Handover of the installed Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) to the client
• Communication with client and contractor during the installation
• Weekly reporting to site coordinator and project manager about progress and status

• Must be EU citizen and is eligible to work in EU and US
• Electro mechanic or similar technical training
• Practical knowledge required of electrical, mechanical and testing equipment
• Capability and flexibility to work at remote sites (domestically and internationally as required) in adverse weather conditions
• Readiness to work on offshore platforms and wind modules
• Negotiation skills
• Leadership Skills
• Fluent in English, good knowledge of German
