Supervisor, Learning & Development

Your role in helping us shape the future:
Proactive leader responsible for executing our learning development strategy and philosophy, along with leading a team of Learning and Development professionals.
The individual is responsible for leading the development, and delivery of training programs ranging from leadership cohorts to culture change initiatives, leveraging various learning modalities for program delivery. To achieve the desired result, you will need to partner with individuals across human resources and the business to integrate development needs, focusing on best practices to implement both off-the-shelf and custom programs in a global environment.

• Manage and support a team of Learning and Development professionals with programming execution, along with analyzing the effectiveness of training programs to create an inclusive culture of continuous development.
• Plan, develop, and provide training and staff development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom and virtual training, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
• Collaborate with frontline business leaders to build and manage a variety of learning and development programs and approve learning requests.
• Evaluate instructor performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement to leadership.
• Manage and track vendor relationships to include eLearning providers, cohort facilitators, sales training, and more.
• Program manage our annual mid-level leadership cohort, LEAD@Intelsat.
• Assist with organizational communications/advertisements along with internal webpages, by collaborating with internal marketing team and stakeholders to ensure employees have knowledge of training events and resources.
• Support the overhaul of enterprise-wide onboarding to include creating resources, introducing new events and programs to support new hires, improving orientation, etc.
• Stay abreast of multiple industry trends, technology, and standards, to anticipate future upskilling efforts and needs for the business.
• Understand significance of DEI as it relates to initiatives, programming, and vendors
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (HRBPs, HRIS, Compliance team, etc.) to resolve problems, identify solutions and move projects forward
• Lead in executing DEI programs and initiatives, including partnering with Intelsat's D&I Council on the implementation of our strategic plan for diversity & inclusion.
• Drive planning and execution of D&I events while partnering with our D&I council, ERGs, L&D team, talent acquisition and HRBPs.
• Evaluate effectiveness of learning plans, programs and event success to increase employee engagement and performance, leveraging survey and data analytics by partnering with HRIS Team
• Guide the organization in prioritizing and developing learning plans and curricula with available resources, in coordination with leadership, and aligning with organizational strategic priorities.
• Advanced public speaking skills with a strong background in:
  • Classroom and virtual facilitation.
  • Leading and designing programs for all levels to increase collaboration.

You should definitely have:

• A bachelor's degree in Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resources or a related field
• Minimum 5 years' of recent experience leading global training & development programs from start to finish
• Minimum 3 years' experience leading and coaching professionals
• Exceptional project management skills and experience using tools such as Microsoft Project, Monday.com, etc.
• S trong oral and written communications skills - ability to communicate "up and down" Intelsat
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, etc.)
• Subject-matter expertise in adult learning theories in eLearning, training, and development programming
• The ability to work in a multinational multi-cultural environment
• Experience with Oracle Cloud and NetDimensions/PeopleFluent LMS, desired
