F&G is looking to hire for a Supervisor, Retail Operations Training position.

Job Summary

The Supervisor, Retail Operations Training is responsible for leading the development and implementation of training to increase the knowledge, skills, and abilities of Retail Operations team members. In partnership with the Retail Operations leadership team and the Manager, Retail Operations Training & Development this position will prioritize departmental training needs to ensure optimal results that align with business objectives.

This position reports to the Manager, Retail Operations Training & Development. This position will interact with all levels of employees. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of training strategies, initiatives, and materials
  • Create and maintain a database of training materials
  • Identify areas of improvement in Retail Operations by utilizing the skills matrix
  • Oversee the prioritization of incoming training requests
  • Develop and implement training for new and existing associates
  • Communicate training needs and online resources for curriculum development
  • Partner with the Technical Writer and Compliance to ensure training documentation meets compliance standards
  • Test and review created materials and communicate and revisions or improvements to the Retail organization as needed
  • Develop presentations, training materials, and handout materials
  • Provide summary reports to management, outlining the impact of training on employee skills and goals
  • Conduct surveys to gauge the effectiveness of training
  • Coordinate and monitor enrollment, schedules, costs, and equipment
  • Instruct employee training as needed
  • Promote F&G’s culture using the CADE model

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of training experience as a coach or training facilitator
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Life and/or Annuity new business process (pre and post-issue a plus)
  • Insurance industry-specific experience preferred

  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills; able to mentor and lead
  • A strong collaborator with a demonstrated ability/credibility to influence broadly and challenge conventional thinking
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Highly-developed communications skills (written/verbal), ability to deliver clear and convincing presentations
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships and the ability to model our core values: Collaborative, Authentic, Dynamic, Empowered, and Inclusive
  • Proficient plus with Microsoft Office Suite

Other Requirements

  • Perform other functions, duties, and projects as assigned
  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Some travel may be required (less than 10%)
