Summary
About the position: This position will be assigned to the Landings Club on Dover Air Force Base.
This position is considered Regular Part Time. You are guaranteed 20 hours, however you could work up to 40 hours per week. As a Regular employee, you are eligible to earn annual leave, sick leave and sign up for benefits to include Health/Dental and Life Insurance, 401(k) and NAF Retirement.
NOTE: This position is temporary, NOT TO EXCEED 01-DEC-2024.

- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's and ServSafe Certificate.
- Must be able to exert light physical effort in reaching, bending, turning, or moving hands, feet, and legs to operate hand and foot controls.
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
- This position has been identified as a Test Designated Position (TDP). The incumbent of this position will be subject to and must consent to a pre-employment and random drug testing.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
The applicant must have experience in the occupational specialization of the position, or in a directly related area which provides knowledge of the kinds of work performed. Supervision should have been a level sufficient to ensure knowledge of how and why tasks are performed, and to ensure work is performed efficiently and effectively. The applicant must have had experience which demonstrated the ability to plan and establish program objectives or performance goals, and assess progress toward achievement, to make adjustments to meet new requirements, emergencies, or changing programs within available resources; to analyze organizational and operational problems; to communicate effectively orally and in writing; to be objective and fair in judging people on their abilities, and in judging situations on the facts and circumstances; to deal effectively with individuals or groups to accomplish work tasks. Must satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's and ServSafe Certificate. Must be able to exert light physical effort in reaching, bending, turning, or moving hands, feet, and legs to operate hand and foot controls. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). "This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use."

This position does not have an education qualification requirement.

- U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal Affiliation.

- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- A probationary period may be required.
- Pre-employment requirements must be satisfactorily met prior to Entrance on Duty (EOD).
- Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
