Qualifications
Experience Requirements:
One year (52 weeks) of experience equivalent to the GS-14 level performing ALL of the following:
- Leading the vision, strategy, and execution of data science work to include overseeing work applying data science methods, principles, or tools such as modeling techniques, data visualization, statistical analysis, and data governance.
- Planning, organizing, and leading team planning efforts that align work with organizational priorities that reflect the consensus of the organization to include consistently validating planning with key stakeholders to communicate progress and embrace new requirements.
- Partnering with stakeholders and customers to identify needs and deliver value, and, as appropriate, identifiying approaches to pilot novel solutions to meet customers' latent and manifested needs, AND
- Leading a team of experts in a technical field.

Degree: Mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or field directly related to the position (we will accept social and natural science degrees with statistical components such as sociology, criminology, political science, biology, chemistry, engineering, physics, immunology, genetics, ecology, etc.). The degree must be, at minimum, attained at the baccalaureate level.

Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major field of study (30 semester hours) as shown in paragraph A above, plus additional education or appropriate experience.
