Summary

- Telework options can be negotiated and implemented after entrance on duty.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance.
- The duty location for this position can be either Dayton, OH, Albuquerque, NM, Valparaiso, FL Arlington, VA or Rome, NY. This position is eligible for maximum telework flexibilities.
- This is a drug testing position.
- This is a Supervisory position.

- This position may require travel.
- This is a Financial Management LEVEL 3 Certified position in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d. Incumbent shall comply with the requirements.
- The employee must, within 30-days of assuming this position and by 31 October annually, thereafter, file an OGE-450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report. Employee is required to attend annual ethics and procurement integrity training.
- This is an acquisition coded position. Selectee must complete required certification Level 4 in Business-Financial Management (K) within 24 months of assignment.
Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. To qualify for this position, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the DO-2 (GS-13) broadband.
Required Qualifications
- United States Citizenship
- Males must be registered for Selective Service, see www.sss.gov.
- Must meet specialized experience at the next lower grade level of the position or equivalent in the Federal system.
- The employee must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance for the position.
- This position may be APDP coded position.
- The position may require Financial Management certification.
- The incumbent of this position may be required to file annual financial disclosures to ensure there are no conflicts of interest in the performance of these duties.
- PCS Assistance may be authorized
Desired Qualifications
- Desired Master's/MBA or equivalent advanced degree in finance, business administration, or other relevant meaningful Master's degree.
- Experience with successfully interfacing/collaborating with business partners across multiple functions outside financial management.
- Strong technical and financial management knowledge, including the ability to use financial models and effectively communicate data and results.
- Exceptional leadership skills include setting clear expectations, motivating employees and driving accountability to garner desired results.
- Knowledge/experience of Department of Defense Acquisition requirements; financial management concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations.
- Experience in building program plans and budget justification products.
- Experience of providing written and oral communications to senior leaders.
- Experience with solving complex issues which span multiple internal and external organizations.
Education
