Supervisory Loan Specialist (Agricultural)

Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by 07/26/2024, specialized experience and/or education, as defined below.

For the GS-12: One year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-11 level in the Federal service. Examples of specialized experience include; comprehensive knowledge of agricultural production, financial management and credit principles and practices sufficient to analyze the solvency, credit risk and future repayment capacity of integrated agricultural operations and complex loans and loan applications; advanced knowledge of laws, rules and regulations concerning agricultural trade and business practices and of income tax laws, bankruptcy laws and other statutes; demonstrated skill in working with large loans, complex operations, such as corporations and trusts, as well as complicated servicing cases, including loan restructures, liquidations and bankruptcy. In addition to the above requirements; applicants must meet the below Selective Placement Factor Requirement:

• MANDATORY SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR:Must possess or have had possessed Agricultural Loan Approval Authority.

• Farm Service Agency (FSA) County Employees: Permanent County employees without prior Federal tenure who are selected for a Civil Service position under Public Law 105-277 will be given a career-conditional appointment and must serve a 1-year probationary period.
• CONFIDENTIAL FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE REPORT: If selected, you will be required to submit Form OGE-450 within 30 days of your initial appointment date, and annually thereafter. • This position is eligible for telework within the local commuting area of the position and other flexible work arrangements. Current USDA policy includes telework for an 8 hour work day, 4 days per week; other flexibilities are possible dependent upon availability and/or the position and its associated duties.
