Summary
This position is assigned to the Single Sailor Recreation Division: Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department, Commander, Navy Installations Command. The primary purpose of this position is to manage and administer a comprehensive and diverse year-round Single Sailor Program which includes the day-to-day operations, development, organization, and facilitation. This position is located at The Depot in Yorktown, Va.

Conditions of Employment
- Must pass all applicable records and background check.
- Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
- Must be able to work varied work schedules to include holidays, weekends and evenings.
- Subject to recall regularly.
- Occasional travel of less than 10% may be required.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance.
Qualifications
A qualified candidate must possess:
- Knowledge of the principles, techniques and methods or procedures used in organizing, planning, administering and conducting a wide variety of recreation activities.
- Knowledge of the scope of recreational activities and their suitability for individuals, groups, ages and interests
- Knowledge of current trends in recreation.
- Knowledge of marketing and promotion techniques that motivate and encourage program participation.
- Knowledge of CNIC's EEO policy and procedures.
- Skill in the use of Microsoft Office Programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
- Ability to develop and effectively deliver presentations and/or training.
- Ability to influence others in obtaining cooperation and assistance.
- Ability to perform the full range of supervisory duties.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

This position does not have a positive education requirement.

Salary is dependent on experience and/or education.
