Job Description:
The Supplier Manager - Emerging & Growth Suppliers develops and owns the go-to-market strategy for suppliers, including business growth planning, MDF planning and investment, alignment of supplier products with current market direction, and oversight of marketing program execution.
What you will be doing
- Develop influential supplier relationships with key decision makers, resulting in Arrow gaining a competitive advantage on sales opportunities.
- Build influential relationships with key decision makers up to C-level and across all functional areas at assigned suppliers to grow sales and market share in respective technologies through various programs and marketing communications activities.
- You will act as liaison between field selling groups and Corporate to resolve questions/ issues regarding products and/or suppliers, including supply chain management, website development, and promotional materials. In this position, you will be expected to be the product expert within these technologies and guide the field on significant opportunities.
- The main point of contact between Arrow and its suppliers
- Ensure the appropriate groups are effectively engaged with our suppliers.
- Developing influential supplier relationships with key decision-makers resulted in Arrow gaining a competitive advantage in sales opportunities and being a supplier advocate within Arrow.
- Working as a resource for the sales team to enable navigation throughout selling engagements, assist in selling suppliers/technologies to customers, and position Arrow appropriately with suppliers at both the corporate and local levels.
- Identifying specific market segments and customers to market particular suppliers and technologies to the Arrow sales team, with the goal of growing business segments and customer base.
- Working with the team to develop strategies to grow sales/market share with suppliers and/or technologies and conduct stakeholder management with key constituents in other departments to enable the implementation of the strategy.
What we are looking for
- Guides others in resolving complex issues in specialized areas based on existing solutions and procedures.
- Responsible for developing the business plan and comprehensive marketing plan that supports the go-to-market strategy to meet identified KPIs and gain market share.
- Collaborate across Arrow functional areas to create a winning combination of products, support, and processes that drive maximum success with our Selling Groups for our key suppliers.
- Work as a resource for the sales team to assist in selling supplier technologies to customers.
- Serves as an expert within their own discipline.
- Serves as a resource for best practices/quality on functional teams or projects.
- Trains/mentors junior staff.
- Experience working with CRMs and ERPs.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Experience / Education
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a 4 year degree, or 6 years and an advanced degree, or equivalent experience.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$81,100.00 - $150,855.76
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
