Supplier Quality Engineer

Reporting to the Quality Manager you as a Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible to for ensuring that the materials, components, and products supplied by vendors meet the quality standards established by the company.

About the job:

• Responsible for ensuring that the materials, components, and products supplied by vendors meet the quality standards established by the company.

• Conduct periodic supplier audits to ensure compliance with the company’s quality standards and regulations.

• Start and follow up on Corrective Action requests and Quality alerts to suppliers.

• Collaborate with suppliers to quickly resolve raw material quality issues.

• Coordinate activities for the approval of new or changed parts.

• Follow up on materials purchased and under quarantine.

• Report supplier quality performance.

• Experience in quality or related field.

• Location: Matehuala, San Luis Potosi

About you

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.

• Two to five years of experience

• Experience in audits.

• Theoretical knowledge and practical application of automotive industry tools (Core tools)

• Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies.

• Knowledge of basic and advanced statistical tools.
