Supplier Quality Engineer

Your Role:
Potential candidate will be the on-site supplier quality representative in Hanford, Ca. Hanford is the assembly center for Faraday Future vehicles. The role will assist in root cause analysis of vehicle defects and assist in the determination of the responsible party for further action. The role will cover all commodities purchased for the assembly center.
Responsibilities:
· Perform effective root cause analysis.
· Follow up within Supplier Quality to ensure progress on issues.
· Responsible to ensure defects are contained ASAP.
· Assist in coordinating defect containment activities.
· Create/communicate regular reports for follow up within Supplier Quality
· Communicate urgent issues to Supplier Quality Leadership
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or related discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Quality, Manufacturing etc.)
· 2+ years experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer.
· 5+ years working directly within automotive manufacturing.
· Demonstrated familiarity / knowledge of all commodities within the vehicle.
· Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing and assembly plant processes, procedures, facilities and equipment
· Proven experience working GD&T, 8D’s
· Strong analytic problem-solving skills
· Proven knowledge + expertise, and passion for Start-up EV OEM’s
Preferred Qualifications:
· Six Sigma Green Belt
· Red X Problem solving methodologies.
· 2+ years experience as an Automotive Supplier Quality Engineer
· 5+ years of experience in medium to high volume production manufacturing of automobiles.
· A creative curiosity, collaborative ethic, hardworking enthusiasm, & driving personal vision
· Excellent communication skills and team-working tendencies
· A penchant for multi-tasking and self-starting
· A genuine fascination for the electric vehicle field and a commitment to global change
· A true sense of determination… and hopefully a sense of humor
Annual Salary Range:
$86,000 to $107,000, plus benefits and incentive plans
